Dr. Ramky Kavaserry DPT (Physical Therapist, Myofascial Release, Dry Needling, Certified Exercise Trainer)

Born in India, Ramakrishnan Kavaserry whose patients call him Ramky graduated from his Bachelors in Physical Therapy from Sri Ramachandra Medical College in 2002. He then moved to the U.S. where he completed his Masters in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University in California.

He has over 14 years of clinical experience, and started his career as a practicing physical therapist in a skilled nursing facility treating a wide variety of conditions and successfully rehabilitated his patients back to their active lifestyle. Over the years, he has gained expertise working across segments like outpatient, SNF, Homecare and gained expertise in manual therapy and using a combination of different techniques to relieve pain. His passion for pain relief led him to pursue certifications in various techniques and combine various techniques in effective treating his patients. In addition to treating patients, he also teaches on different physical therapy related topics like Body Mechanics at various organizations at their request.

Ramky is Board Certified in Physical therapy. He has several other certifications like Myofascial Release, Dry Needling, Back to Golf, Certified Fitness Trainer. He is also certified for Direct Access with State of Virginia. He is an active member of the VPTA (Virginia Physical Therapy Association) and APTA ( American Physical Therapy Association).

In his spare time, Ramky loves spending time with his family and friends and is extremely passionate about updating his knowledge by reading/attending courses to widen his expertise to treat pain.

Neepa Patel ( Bachelor’s Degree, Physical Therapy )

Neepa did her Bachelors in india and is very passionate to help patients in pain and help them rehabilitate back to their prior level of function.

Neepa believes in continuous learning to help her patients, she is currently pursuing her training in Dry Needling. She has been trained already in Manual Therapy, Aquatic Therapy and Exercise Therapy is currently playing a lead therapist role in RVAPT. She loves to listen to Music and spending time with her two years old son.
